Introduction

Welcome to the BarkCore family!

At BarkCore we believe that dogs are more than just our pets- they are part of the family. They greet us with wiggly tails after the longest days, sit with us when we need comfort, and prove there is a type of love that will never ask for anything in return. Because of that, we believe they deserve that same loyalty and unwavering care and love that they so effortlessly give to us. 

Life gets busy- we get that. Work, responsibilities, all the daily struggles can sometimes just take right out of the time that we wish we could give to our furry friends. BarkCore was created with that understanding (not to replace your presence, but to support it). BarkCore is here to help keep your dog comforted and safe, to take away that worry “Are they okay?” and provide some peace of mind. 

About This Manual 
This manual is designed to guide you through every step of using your BarkCore collar. Inside, you will find: 
   -Instructions for setting up and fitting the collar  
   -An overview of features and how to use them  
   -Guidance on interpreting your dog’s health and activity data  
   -Troubleshooting tips and care instructions  
   -Whether you’re setting up BarkCore for the first time or looking to better understand its features, this guide will help you get the most out of your            experience.  

 Main Components: 

  1. Collar Monitoring Module- This has the GPS tracking and Health monitoring sensor built in to reduce bulkiness and increase pet comfort. 
  2. Adjustable Collar Strap- Secure, comfortable, and adjustable for dogs of various sizes. 
  3. Battery (2) and Battery Compartment- The BarkCore Monitoring Module works off of a rechargeable battery that has a quick release/install mechanism for ease of use with 12hr average battery life. 
  4. Indicator light- Displays battery status and connectivity. 
  5. Power Button- Turns collar on or off. 
  6. Charging Port- To recharge battery as needed.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Insert Battery 

  • Open the battery compartment on the underside of the device
  • Insert a fully charged battery until it clicks securely into place

Step 2: Position Device 

  • Place theBarkCore collar on dog ensuring the fit is snug but not tight (collar should fit with two fingers space under collar) 

SAFETY INFORMATION 

IMPORTANT: Please read all safety instructions before use. 

  • This product is intended for dogs only
  • Do not allow aggressive chewing on the device
  • Do not use the product if it is damaged or cracked
  • Always supervise your dog duringinitialuse 
  • Use only the provided batteries and charging equipment
  • Product is waterresistant not waterproof-  
     DO NOT allow water submersion for longer than 2 consecutive hours. 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 

Initial SetUp 

Step 1: Power On 
• Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds until indicator light turns green 

Step 2: Download and Connect to App 
• Download App: BarkCore, and follow in app instructions to create your free account.  

  --> Create Your Account: 
    • Select “Create Account” on the app home screen  
    • Enter the following information:  
 -Email address  
 -Password  
 -Your dog’s name and basic info (optional but recommended)  
    • Verify your email if prompted  
    • Log in to your new account  
            --> Enable Permissions: 
                 • Allow the app to access:  
 -Bluetooth (required for pairing the collar)  
 -Location services (required for GPS tracking)  
 -Notifications (recommended for alerts about your dog’s status) 

Step 3: Pair Collar with Device 
 • Once powered on, press the power button five (5) times to initiate Bluetooth connection. Indicator light will begin to blink blue when in pairing mode. Follow instructions in App to finish pairing with your device. 
    • Collar is connected when indicator light is steady blue for three seconds followed by blinking green light indicating the device is on and connected properly.  

Step 4: Begin Monitoring Your Best Friend 
    •Using the App, begin keeping your dog safe and happy! 

Dual Battery System 

 ***BarkCore is designed with a dual battery system to ensure continuous monitoring without interruption. 

How You’ll Know a Battery Is Low: 

  • The indicator light on the collar will begin blinking red  
  • You will receive a low battery notification in the BarkCore app  
  • The battery level will appear below 20% in the app dashboard  

How to Replace the Battery: 

  1. Remove the depleted battery from the collar compartment  
  1. Insert a fully charged battery until it clicks securely into place  
  1. Confirm the collar powers on (indicator light turns green)  

Charging the Battery: 

  • Place the depleted battery into the provided charging port/dock  
  • A solid red light indicates charging is in progress  
  • A solid green light indicates the battery is fully charged  

Continuous Monitoring: 

  • The dual battery system allows you to swap batteries without shutting down tracking  
  • This ensures your dog remains monitored at all times with minimal interruption 

MAINTENANCE AND CARE 

The BarkCore Collar has been created with you and your furry companion in mind, meaning maintenance and care is a minimal requirement. 

  • Clean the device weekly using a damp cloth
  • Do not submerge the device in water for longer than 2 consecutive hours
  • Fully recharge batteries before use to ensure maximum use

TROUBLESHOOTING & FAQs 

Q: The device will not turn on 

A: Ensure the battery is properly inserted and fully charged 

Q: The device stops during use 

A: The battery may be low; replace or recharge as needed 

Q: The App will not connect to the collar 

A: Turn collar off and restart the pairing process.
